February 17 2020.- Mariscos Castellar has recently presented the master cycling team, which the company has been sponsoring for the last two decades, and which is now starting the twentieth season of its career as the oldest team in Spain.

 

At the presentation ceremony, chaired by the mayor  of Castellar, Pedro García, was attended by the general director of Mariscos Castellar, Josefina García Calero, accompanied by her father and founder of the company, Pepe García.

 

In her speech, Josefina García, highlighted  “the pride and enthusiasm with which the Mariscos Castellar team wears the jersey, with the same passion and intensity as the first day  and spreading his love to the little ones, who take them as a reference not only in sports but also for the values that cycling represents; effort, perseverance, and teamwork, with which our company and workers feel fully identified ”.

 

The Mariscos Castellar Master Cycling Team is made up of twenty-four master and elite athletes, and a sports director, from different  spanish provinces such as Madrid, Toledo, Ciudad Real,  Málaga, Córdoba and, of course, Jaén.

 

The group has ahead this year a tough calendar of road races that will be more than forty dates throughout the national territory, especially highlighting its participation in the Master’s Cup of Spain. They will be present in the cup events  from different autonomous communities as well as in the autonomous championships of Andalusia, Castilla la Mancha and Madrid. Furthermore, they will carry out mountain biking events  and other bike events.
