October 28 2021.- The food company Mariscos Castellar, specialized in the production and distribution  of seafood products, has resumed its activity of external projection with a  participation in the most important national and international fairs of the sector held throughout this past October.


After the end of the mobility restrictions due to Covid-19 and the reset of the event calendar,  the company has resumed its promotion with the participation, one more time, in the International Fair of Frozen Seafood Products (Conxemar), held at the beginning of October in Vigo.


As a member of the Board of Directors of Conxemar, the general director of Mariscos Castellar, Josefina García Calero, has been part of the reception committee for the first personalities who have attended the FAO-Conxemar Congress on Nutrition and Health, such as Her Majesty Queen Doña Letizia, developed at the very fair.

With a large and interesting stand, Mariscos Castellar has had a relevant presence at this event due to the number of products in its range that it has been able to show. This also derived in face-to-face meetings with customers and suppliers, as well as new business relationships and opportunities born at the fair.

The company based in the Jaen town of Castellar has continued its projection plan, in this time internationally,  visiting the German city of Cologne, where the world’s leading fair for the food and beverage industry, Anuga 2021,  was held. At it, Mariscos Castellar has carried out an important testing for  newly created products that corporate is currently developing. These products are inspired from typical Spanish tapas, based on seafood, that has been widely accepted by professionals from different countries and diverse gastronomic profiles.

The promotional activity of Mariscos Castellar has continued with the exhibition of its latest delicacies and novelties at the Salón Gourmets (Gourmets Hall), held in Madrid and which is the most important annual showcase of high-end food and beverages.


As on previous occasions, Mariscos Castellar has recieved widespread recognition for the quality of its seafood, emblem of the brand, especially its range of freshly cooked seafood.
