{"id":5795,"date":"2020-02-19T11:04:26","date_gmt":"2020-02-19T10:04:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mariscoscastellar.com\/blog-en\/mariscos-castellar-two-decades-supporting-cycling-and-its-most-veteran-team-in-spain\/"},"modified":"2021-11-09T19:00:09","modified_gmt":"2021-11-09T18:00:09","slug":"mariscos-castellar-two-decades-supporting-cycling-and-its-most-veteran-team-in-spain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mariscoscastellar.com\/en\/news\/mariscos-castellar-two-decades-supporting-cycling-and-its-most-veteran-team-in-spain\/","title":{"rendered":"MARISCOS CASTELLAR: TWO DECADES SUPPORTING CYCLING AND ITS MOST VETERAN TEAM IN SPAIN"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>February 17 2020<\/strong>.- <strong>Mariscos Castellar<\/strong> has recently presented the master cycling team, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mariscoscastellar.com\/\">the company<\/a> has been sponsoring for the last two decades, and which is now starting the twentieth season of its career as the oldest team in Spain.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At the presentation ceremony, chaired by the mayor\u00a0 of Castellar, <strong>Pedro Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, was attended by the general director of Mariscos Castellar, Josefina Garc\u00eda Calero, accompanied by her father and founder of the company, <strong>Pepe Garc\u00eda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In her speech, <strong>Josefina Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, highlighted\u00a0 \u201cthe <strong>pride and enthusiasm<\/strong> with which the Mariscos Castellar team wears the jersey, with the same passion and intensity as the first day\u00a0 and spreading his love to the little ones, who take them as a reference not only in sports but also for t<strong>he values that cycling represents<\/strong>; effort, perseverance, and teamwork, with which our company and workers feel fully identified \u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Mariscoscastellar.team\/\"><strong>Mariscos Castellar Master Cycling Team<\/strong><\/a> is made up of twenty-four master and elite athletes, and a sports director, from different\u00a0 spanish provinces such as Madrid, Toledo, Ciudad Real,\u00a0 M\u00e1laga, C\u00f3rdoba and, of course, Ja\u00e9n.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The group has ahead this year a tough calendar of road races that will be <strong>more than forty dates<\/strong> throughout the national territory, especially highlighting its participation in the Master&#8217;s Cup of Spain. They will be present in the cup events\u00a0 from different autonomous communities as well as in the autonomous championships of Andalusia, Castilla la Mancha and Madrid.
